Think just because the holidays are over, so is the fun?  Think again!

Christmas trees have been tossed to the curbside (or better yet, dropped off at a recycling site), decorations packed away for another year (we'll be cleaning up that glitter for a few weeks), calorie-laden goodies cleaned out of the fridge (we'll be carrying that around our midsections for a few weeks), and now your home is back to normal, yet seems a little empty without all the added trimmings.  And as glad as you are that you survived the chaos that sometimes goes along with the holidays, you can't help but feel a little sad that it's all over.  Well, just because you can't get away with wearing your tackiest Christmas sweater anymore, doesn't mean you can't have a little fun.  In fact, I think fun is just what the doctor ordered to get over the post-holidays blues.

If you haven't already made reservations to check out the next production at the RiverCenter, hop online or give them a call to get tickets for Sister Act!  You only have one chance to see this Broadway extravaganza and it's this Thursday (1.8.2015) night (7:30pm).  It features original music by 8-time Oscar® winner Alan Menken and tells the story of Deloris Van Cartier, a wannabe diva whose life takes a surprising turn when she witnesses a crime and the cops hide her in the last place anyone would think to look—a convent! Under the suspicious watch of Mother Superior, Deloris helps her fellow sisters find their voices as she unexpectedly rediscovers her own.  Tons of great music and lots of fun in this one!  And if you were thinking about going to the pre-show dinner at the RiverCenter, you’re out of luck because it’s already sold out!  Not to worry, there are plenty of great restaurants in Uptown to have dinner before the show.  Sounds like a perfect date-night for a Thursday!
