Spring Is Here! Go OUTSIDE!
Bike the Fall Line Trace through Columbus
This is the season you’ve been waiting for in Columbus. Even though we’ve had a warm winter, many of us weren’t in the frame of mind to really enjoy the outdoors. We had that “winter” mindset, put on a few pounds, and kept expecting it to be cold, but it rarely was. Even though the calendar doesn’t say so, Spring is here; the weather is officially warm and that means that it is time to get in the game, go outside, and enjoy what nature has to offer in the Columbus area - and the offerings are extensive!
Actually, we don’t just invite you to “go” outside - we invite you to explore, embrace, experience, and conquer the outside! A few ideas:
Whitewater rafting on the longest urban whitewater course in the world!
If you want to enjoy the river but want a calmer, more relaxing experience, we have flat water rides for the whole family.
Want to get above the water and fly through the air? Try the Zip Line experience with the Blue Heron Adventure over the Chattahoochee!
Want to roll instead of raft or fly? Why don’t you “Ride the Outside”? Check out bike trails and paths around the city and on into nature, including the 11 mile Fall Line Trace.
You could also enjoy geocaching and birding as you search to “Find the Outside.”
This is just a little bit of what a weekend in Columbus in the Spring has to offer. Change into your shorts and flip flops, pull out your gear, and get ready for the Spring - the best time of year in the South. And, Columbus is better at enjoying it than anywhere else!
