Mid-Week Blues? Then start making weekend plans now!
Yep, I know it's the middle of the week and the weekend seems light years away...but all hope is not lost! Especially when you start thinking about all the options of things to do this weekend. If you don't believe me, just check out the Event Calendar to see listing after listing of just what all is planned. One of the things that really caught my eye is the big CutBait Music Festival this Friday and Saturday night in Uptown Columbus. It's a total of 15 acts on four stages over these two nights. The music cranks up Friday night at 7:00pm and then at 6:00pm Saturday. If you love live music and want to hear some of the best regional talent out there, CutBait is the place to be this weekend. Tickets are only $10 a day, but the best deal is to get the $15 weekend pass...then you can enjoy the whole thing to your heart's content! And it's family-friendly, so if you've got kids 10 & under, they get in free! This might even be something fun to do with Dad to kick off a Father's Day weekend celebration.
And speaking of Father's Day, don't forget Whitewater Express has a treat for Dad he won't soon forget...all dads get to raft on the Chattahoochee for free Sunday (only!) All the details are available on their Facebook page. I think Dad will love this!!
