It’s Weekend Time!! What to do, what to do?!
I'll tell you what's to do this weekend...plenty! Don't let a little chance of rain stop you and your buds from getting out and blowing off a little steam and having some fun. So what might you be in the mood for? Running? Got that with the 2014 Audie Murphy 5K at Big Dog Running Company. Art? The Columbus Artists' Guild Art Show is wrapping up Saturday afternoon at CSU's Illges Gallery and there are some beautiful pieces of art you really show see. And if you check the calendar, you'll be stunned and amazed that today is already August 1 (where has this year gone...seriously?) but that also means that tonight there's more art and music on the streets of Broadway for the First Friday Art Walk & Concert. Comedy? After this long week, I think we could all use some great, big ol' belly laughs so head to the Springer for No Shame Theatre tonight (and every Friday night). It's different every week so you never know what to expect...except to be highly entertained! Music? How about this!? There will be some preliminary American Idol Auditions on Saturday beginning at 1:00pm in Uptown Columbus...you never know, the next winner could be in our midst! And finally...are you in the mood for a little sand between your toes? You don't have to drive for hours to the nearest sea shore--you can take the quick drive to Callaway Gardens tonight for their Friday Night Movies on the Beach! Take a lawn chair or beach towel and giggle at fun on screen with "Zookeeper!"
