If you haven’t been rafting on the Chattahoochee River this summer, then this Saturday is your day!

Have you taken the ride down the Chattahoochee River yet?  If you haven't, you are missing out on some kind of fun!  This Saturday will be the perfect day to enjoy the rapids with 999 others as they have an event called "The Grand."  The plan is to put 1000 rafters on the river in one day!!  It'll be the largest single day of whitewater rafting in Columbus history!  "The Grand" features eight discounted hourly time slots, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., so if you want to ease into this whole thing, start off with one of the trips earlier in the day when the flow of the water is a lot gentler.  If you do want to go on one of the more adventurous afternoon runs, you'd better hurry and make reservations because those seats are just about full.  And you know what?  Even if you don't want to get in the river, go stake out a spot on the RiverWalk Island or the 14th Street Pedestrian Bridge for a prime viewing spot.  There's even an after-paddle celebration in Uptown Columbus with live music from Sailing to Denver, local Columbus food trucks and ice-cold beverages.  Looks like Satuday's plans are made!
