Get Your Planners Out…There’s A Lot Going On This Weekend!

So it's the weekend before a holiday weekend and many people may just plan on laying low and getting ready for next weekend, right? WRONG! There's a ton of stuff happening in Columbus this weekend. For the familes and theatre lovers, there are two shows at CSU's Riverside Theatre, Dora the Explorer Live and the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. If you're feeling nostalgic and want to laugh until your stomach hurts, the Crowley Classic Film Series at the Springer Opera House presents The Breakfast Club on Friday night and Monty Python and the Holy Grail on Saturday night. For those that want to avoid the grocery store but still need some fruits and veggies, maybe even dessert, there's Market Days on Broadway on Saturday morning from 9am to noon. If you're looking for a little fire in your life, the head to the Independence Celebration on Fort Moore's York Field on Saturday. And last but not least, if you want to hear some great music, have an awesome time and support a good cause, buy your tickets to the Denim & Diamonds Concert with Justin Moore and Josh Thompson.

See...I told you there's too much going on to sit at home!
