Cool Temps Mean Cool Fun in Columbus, GA!
Out came the coats and boots this morning because there was a definite Autumn chill in the air! A little cool maybe, but this kind of weather is invigorating and gets my blood pumping. If you want to journey outside and get great, big lung-buckets full of fresh air, there's plenty of fun to be had in the next glorious 48 hours. Take your pick from goings-on like Della's Diner at the Springer Opera House, Junie B. Jones at RiverCenter for the Performing Arts, Market Days on Broadway, Couples Dance Featuring the 10:30 Band at the Trade Center, the Rock n Roses Hair Battle at RiverCenter, or No Shame Theatre at the Springer. And one that really caught my attention, The Fast & The Furriest at Woodruff Park beginning at 9:00am Saturday (Nov 15). There will be running, vendors, food and all sorts of fun for the whole family, but the part I like best is that all proceeds benefit the construction of the 75th Ranger Regiment K-9 Monument. To steal Martha Stewart's line..."That's a Good Thing!"
Bundle up good this weekend and before you head out, make sure you take a look at the Event Calendar to get lots more details on these events and more fun things going on in and around Columbus, GA!
