Chattahoochee Challenge Adventure Race Weekend -- The family that adventures together, stays together. TriColumbusGa is hosting its third annual Chattahoochee Challenge Adventure Race November 19th. The race is open to all levels, requiring minimal orienteering or map reading skills, and it’s perfect for an adventurous family. The race consists of hiking, running, biking, whitewater rafting, zip lining, and more.
The race challenges families to work together, navigating their way through the course using plotting and mapping techniques, checking off points as they progress. Grub -- Once the race is finished, everyone’s going to be hungry. Participants can show their race bibs at participating restaurants for 15% off the bill. Columbus’ local food scene is within walking distance of the race. This includes more than 10 locally owned and operated restaurants. Expect everything from homemade pizzas and southern classics like BBQ and burgers, to one of top 40 best restaurants in the country, EPIC.

Ride along the Chattahoochee RiverWalk to some of Columbus’ amazing points of interests… the Coca-Cola Space Science Center, the National Civil War Naval Museum at Port Columbus and the National Infantry Museum, just named the #1 FREE National Museum in the country. Total cruise time is roughly 20 miles there and back.
